Travel Powerboard for Australians Overseas

One socket. Too many devices. Too many tiny annoyances.

Roamboard is a compact Australian travel powerboard for Europe, Indonesia, Bali, South Korea, Morocco, Egypt and other Type C, E and F socket destinations.

The socket is never where you need it.

Behind the bed. Under the desk. Across the room. Roamboard helps bring power closer to your setup.

There is always one extra device.

Your phone, laptop and camera battery are charging, then your headphones or power bank need the spare spot.

No more floor charging.

When your cable is too short, you end up sitting beside the wall. Roamboard gives the setup more reach.

Fewer plug swaps.

Keep the everyday devices plugged in together instead of swapping chargers every hour.

Why not just use a normal travel adapter?

A normal adapter is useful for one thing. Roamboard is made for the whole setup.

Normal adapter

  • Usually charges one device at a time
  • Often bulky or plasticky
  • Can sit awkwardly in the wall
  • Does not help when the socket is under a desk or too far from the bed

FAQ

Useful answers before you pack.

Is Roamboard a travel adapter or a powerboard?

Roamboard is a compact travel powerboard designed for Australians using AU plug devices overseas. It gives you multiple Australian sockets and USB-C ports from one travel setup.

Can I use Roamboard in Europe?

Roamboard is intended for Type E/F style destinations. In Europe, that commonly includes Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Ukraine.

It may also suit other Type E/F destinations such as Indonesia, including Bali, South Korea, Morocco and Egypt. Always check the socket type, voltage and your device compatibility before travelling.

Does Roamboard convert voltage?

No. Roamboard is not a voltage converter. Always check that your device supports the voltage and frequency of the country you are travelling to before plugging it in.

How long is the cable?

The cable is 1 m long, giving you more reach than a wall adapter without making the board annoying to pack.

How much does Roamboard cost?

Roamboard is A$89.95.

Can I use it in the UK, USA or Japan?

Not directly. Those destinations use different socket types, so you would need the correct adapter or a different version of the board.

Can I plug in high-power appliances?

Roamboard is intended for everyday travel tech like phones, laptops, camera gear, headphones and chargers. Avoid high-power appliances such as hair dryers, kettles and heaters unless the device and local power rating are clearly supported.

Will I be charged today?
